In addition to having a good website presence, your organization may benefit from making rich media content available to website visitors. For example, a church may advertise information about its worship service on its website, but imagine presenting actual video footage of your Sunday morning worship service, for visitors to your website to watch?

Streaming media is a great way to reach shut-ins, those away serving in the military, prospective visitors or customers, etc.

We offer two types of streaming service - Live Broadcast and On-Demand. We only offer service to Christian organizations - secular entertainment content is prohibited.

Live Broadcast Streaming

Live broadcast streaming is just like live television. You are broadcasting an event as it happens, and people who tune in listen or watch in real time. This is great for broadcasting your worship service to shut-ins, or saving money over traditional television broadcasting.

Live streaming is priced according to the level of bandwidth you need. The level of bandwidth you need is a factor of the bitrate at which you will be streaming, (i.e. the audio/video quality/resolution), multiplied by the number of simultaneous audience members you wish to support. We price in increments of 512kbps, starting at $9.95 per month.

For churches which broadcast only church services, we discount the service by over 80%, providing our 3,072 kbps level at $9.95 per month (vs. $59.95), and our 6,144 kbps service level at $19.95 per month (vs. $119.95).

On-Demand Streaming

On-Demand streaming provides you with storage on a streaming server to store pre-recorded video or audio media. You link to your on-demand media from your website, allowing your visitors to listen to or watch your programs any time of the day.

Because On-Demand streaming is available 24/7 to your visitors, regardless of what type of organization you are, pricing is the same as the standard live broadcasting service. (See the Streaming Media Service Levels page for details.) For this reason, we recommend that churches and ministries who only need to support up to 10 concurrent listeners or viewers consider hosting a website with us and uploading on-demand content there instead of using true on-demand streaming.

With 10 gigabytes of storage there is plenty of room for your on-demand media, and streaming over http, while not true streaming, is indistinguishable from true streaming by the end user. Additionally, podcasting will only work when your media files are hosted on a website, as your media must be downloadable to disconnected devices such as ipods and other mp3 players.
